Data-Led Design
System size is modelled against operating hours, interval demand and usable roof area.
SolarPanelUAE is an independent lead-generation platform. We connect Ajman businesses with installer partners for commercial solar assessment, utility coordination and proposal review.

System size is modelled against operating hours, interval demand and usable roof area.
Structural limits, safe access, cable routes and delivery phases are addressed before installation.
The proposal identifies utility submissions, property documents, inspections and connection milestones.
Output, self-consumption and commercial assumptions are presented clearly for like-for-like review.
Ajman connects under a scheme that is both younger and more tightly rationed than Dubai’s, and both of those facts belong in the brief before anyone models a return. EtihadWE’s Distributed Solar System opened on 17 September 2024 and is shared across four northern emirates against a single capacity envelope, which makes the order in which applications arrive matter in a way it does not elsewhere.
Al Jurf Industrial Area and Ajman Free Zone are the locations that come up most in the enquiries we handle. Neither should be read as a statement about a particular unit. Suitability is established by looking at the roof, the structure, the shading and the meter — not by the name of the zone a plot sits in.
The programme has been open since 17 September 2024. A second meter records what the building sends out, and the two readings are reconciled each month. Credit that goes unused does not roll forward: it is cleared when the calendar year closes. The scheme also runs against a 20 MW ceiling shared between Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain, released in application order, and Ajman Municipality has to issue a NOC before installation can proceed. There is no self-service portal comparable to the one DEWA runs in Dubai, so the installer partner submits on the property’s behalf.
Year-end credit expiry is the constraint that should shape an Ajman design. Surplus the site will never offset is generation effectively thrown away, so an array here is usually sized closer to measured daytime consumption than an equivalent Dubai system would be. Seasonal operations raise the same issue at a different scale: a facility that idles for part of the year accumulates credit it cannot use, and the partner should model the plant across the full twelve months rather than a good week. Because the shared envelope is allocated in application order, timing has a genuine bearing on whether a project gets in at all, which argues for checking capacity status before the layout is finalised.

Under the EtihadWE Distributed Solar System, unused export credit is cleared at the end of each calendar year rather than rolling forward. Ask the partner to show how much of the modelled output the site will actually offset, since exported units that are never offset are generation with no value.
The Distributed Solar System runs against a 20 MW aggregate cap shared across Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain, allocated first come first served. Ask the partner to confirm current remaining capacity before you commit to a design.
A municipality NOC is required as part of the process. Ask the matched partner to state in writing who obtains it, what it depends on, and where in the sequence it falls relative to the connection application.
EtihadWE fits two registers: one records what the site imports, one what it exports, and the two are reconciled monthly. Ask the partner to explain how the proposal's numbers map onto those readings.
EtihadWE has no mature self-service portal comparable to the one Dubai runs, so in practice the installer partner prepares and submits the application. Ask who is lodging it and on what information.
Tell us about your property and we will route your request to a suitable installer partner.
